When the Atlanta Thrashers reported for pre-season training, Lehtonen thought his team was certain to return to the playoffs, but they finished their season Saturday with the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference, nine wins outside the playoff places.
"It's sad. The way we played all year, we should be glad it's over," Lehtonen said. "It's really hard right now."

Sucks to be out of the playoffs. But at least you might get a good draft pick!
Hopefully it makes up for the players who run because of the bad record, a la Hossa! :(
