Scratch defencemen John-Michael Liles from the list of available free agents.
Sources tell TSN that Liles and the Colorado Avalanche have agreed to terms on a four-year contract worth an average of slightly more than $4 million per year.
Liles was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on Tuesday. The deal is likely to be formally announced Monday.
So I thought about starting another more generic hockey blog, but y'all talked me out of it. Full NHL talk will stay at FWH!

I'd honestly say you don't really need to start a new blog, since "Fire Wagon Hockey" is enough of a universal name that you could apply it to the league as a whole.
I've never minded when you consider league news from an Atlanta POV. If you want to start a new one, go ahead, but I'd be just as happy to see more general news over here! :)

I agree with Nebcanick. There's really no need to have specialized blogs; just write about the Thrashers and the NHL at large on one blog.
That's what we do, but then again, perhaps we're not the best model.

With that being said, keep it all on one blog. The Thrashers (in your case, The Karis) can be the main focus, but no one minds if you branch out and talk about other teams. So long as the other teams are not the Stars...
