Tonight's FLA/BUF game is must win for Buffalo, not just because it affects us, and whether the despised Kittens surpass us in the standings. With this win, Ryan Miller will have 100 NHL wins. It's really a toss-up which of those is cooler. Probably Crunchy's admission to the 100 Club.

ETA: I take it back. I take it all back. I think this game should be called. If you're not watching, Olli Jokinen was falling, his skate came up, and cut Richard Zednick in the carotid artery. There is no status update on him at this time, and the HSBC arena is silent. We hate the Panthers more than likely anyone else ever, but not like this. We hate the logo on the front, not the name on the back.
Please send good thoughts, and prayers if you're into that, Zed's way.
ETA2: Buffalo is reporting Zed is in stable condition, has a team of doctors taking care of him at a local hospital, and is under the best possible care considering the circumstances. And Crunchy got win #100. I don't know if that's the circumstance you want such an important win under, but a win is a win.

So terrible. Just watching the highlights on the NHL Network stunned me. I can't imagine what it would have been like to be actually watching the game live.
