It's brutal out there - people tryin' to knock you down, shake you up, make you quit. It's called hockey. Sound familiar? It's a lot like life. You want to succeed? You gotta be tough, stand up for yourself. Sometimes you dish it out. Other times? You gotta take it. But you keep. Getting. Up. No matter how much it hurts. Give up? Give in? Wha? Pft, yeah, right. Oh and the "Become One.. In Blueland" slogan is better? WHY IS MY TEAM FULL OF FAIL BEFORE THE SEASON EVEN STARTS?!!!

Please let Kovalchuk go to a contender where he can challenge Ovechkin for the scoring lead....it is sad to see such a talent wasted in a hockey black hole.
Love the site - admittedly first time visitor (unless I just don't remember in the ever-expanding "daily reading list")...
Anyway, if that's really the ATL battle-cry for the season, that's lame as hell...
They might as well come out with "We put the 'H' in T rash" or something equally as far-fetched...
I loved the team when Hossa and Kovalchuk made them a serious offensive threat (mainly when Savard was there too, I guess). Now I just wait for the bad scores to come in.
I am a Rangers fan, but a general hockey fan as well...

And welllll... this is a double edged sword. Every year the guys get shirts just for training camp, and it's always kind of a big thing, everyone looks forward to seeing what this year's slogan is cause it's always pretty cool...
FAIL.
But the other edge is that what appears to be the slogan for the actual season is "Become one... In Blueland" ...
EPIC FAIL.
There should be a contest for a new slogan.
