Today's Sunshine Recipient: WWD!

Robbie, of We Want Dunham!, is todays BLOWING SUNSHINE UP YOUR ASS recipient, because he totally hooked me with camp pictures! Mr Dee is charming, and handsome, and has great hair, and he takes amazing photos, and has impeccable taste in music, and women!

So if you visit either link, you can take a gander at his awesome photos from camp! Taken yesterday! I, however, will regale you with the photos of Karppa! I know, just try and act surprised, okay? Thx.

Who am I kidding? Here's Moose and Pony (Pavelec! He does have an animalistic nickname!):

Also, Colby and Kovy, and Perrsy:

 And now onto Karppa!

Preparing for the ATL regional break-dancing championships.

So in summation, send me photos you took and I will also blow sunshine up your ass. If they're really super duper awesome photos, I will reward you with a prize!

WINNING COMES IN CANS

NOT IN CAN'TS!

Today's the day!! First day of training camp!

OK so, maybe we, the fans, will have no part of today, either as participants or observers, but have you made your weekend plans yet for camp? You better get on that! The boys are back in town and things are gearing up. Here is the weekend's schedule:

Saturday, Sept. 20
Team A - Practice, 9-11:15a.m.
Team B - Practice, 9-11:15 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 21
Team A - Practice, 9-11:15a.m.
Team B - Practice, 9-11:15 a.m.

I personally could not be more excited, even though I'm like 400 miles away. Listen, if I had the cash, there's 100% chance I'd drive down to Duluth this weekend to scope things out and get some early reports on training camp. Alas, fair friends, I will have to rely on your eagle eyes, your thoughtful prose, and your scathing analyses of the team.

Also, listen, I have a proposition for you. You know how, all season long, I hook you with wallpaper-quality photos from nearly each and every game? How I am your go-to for high quality images? Well I never ask for anything in return, until now, and I think it's a fairly reasonable request. In exchange for hooking you with awesome game photos all season long, do you think you could take some pictures for me at camp this weekend, and this week? Specifically of Kari, Pavs, Moose, Perrsy, Bogo, and Colby? I will not only be your best friend, but I will also give you an outstanding personal character reference should you ever require one! And! I will give you a link! Also I will talk sugar about you and how gorgeous and sexy you are. So really, it's win/win.

So in summation...
You give me: Photos!
I give you: Love, links, and as much sunshine up your ass as you can possibly stand.

Seriously, how can you lose?

The Atlanta Thrashers will be among eight NHL teams participating in the 2008 Traverse City Prospect Evaluation Tournament, hosted by the Detroit Red Wings at the Center I.C.E. Arena in Traverse City, Mich., from Sept. 13-17. The Thrashers will compete in the tournament’s Eastern Conference along with the Red Wings, New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning. The Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues will comprise the Western Conference.

Per tournament rules, each team may have a maximum of four players with one year of professional experience. In order to participate, all skaters must have been born no later than 1984; goalies are exempt from this rule.

The Thrashers roster will be highlighted by the team’s third overall selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, defenseman Zach Bogosian, as well as former Pittsburgh Penguins first-round selection Angelo Esposito. Newly appointed Chicago Wolves Head Coach Don Granato and Gwinnett Gladiators Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Pyle will coach the Thrashers prospects.

At the conclusion of the tournament, players will be selected to participate in the Thrashers main training camp, which begins with physicals and medical testing on Sept. 19th at the Duluth IceForum.
