Because I'm kind of a bumbling idiot sometimes, I accidentally had my fantasy league draft last night - but hey, it's OK. I think everyone pre-ranked since I nagged them about it, but man did I wind up with a great roster! Every guy on the roster I had preranked, except for one:

Clearly I'm a follower of the Eastern Conference. Is Frolov good? He wasn't in my rankings. But none of the other left wings looked that great in comparison.
I think this might be the first year I do NOT finish in the basement!

that's so lame, i can't believe you drafted kari. i mean, seriously, maali. like, i totally had him listed as my number one pick because i didn't want you to get him and, lookee here, you got him. i think there's some draft tampering going on o'er here, especially with you getting that first pick and all.
seriously though, i like the results! i pretty much got everyone i preranked for as well. it's gonna be a good fantasy season!
I'd like to meet everyone. I assume most of us will be at the Caps game Friday. Meet me at the absolute bar near the Marta entrance after the first and I'll buy you a drink. I'm the bald guy in glasses and black Thrashers jacket.
unfortunately i won't be able to make the trip up on friday. i blame this damned economy. or my job. either or, my wife and i couldn't budget in the season-opener this year. :( one of these days we'll make it up to philips though! if maali ever decides to come south, a league meetup would be great!
